Thirteen parts. Three grades. A record that keeps the nights nothing happened.
If the body is a receiver, then the work is to tune it. And tuning that cannot be read is not tuning. It is hope with a cushion under it.
So this series treats practice as tuning you can read. Find what is installed. Clear it. Sound each station until one answers with a note that is yours. Keep a record that shows you what is changing.
None of it requires believing anything. It is a discipline of restoration, not a religion. It is about what you do, not what you hold to be true. A reader who thinks the cosmology is a beautiful mistake can run the whole thing and keep their own numbers.

Each stage gives you something you can feel. The first three are free.
Two posts set up everything the thirteen parts assume. Neither is required, and both are short.
BackgroundThe ReceiverEvery practice in MOLT does one job. It clears the line. BackgroundThe LatticeIn 1991 a Mexican neurophysiologist argued that the brain does not make experience. It receives it. Three years later he disappeared. The two names that recur across the series, Grinberg and Keely, are not sources this work borrowed from. They are separate men who arrived at the same structure without contact, a century apart. That is the claim, and it is the kind of claim that can be wrong.
The depth scale is the deliberate exception. It is borrowed, and openly: it is the oldest description of contemplative depth anyone has, and the series uses their scale without adopting their path.
Start with The Vessel, which states the premise under all twelve, what each part gives you, how long it takes, and every warning in one place.
Grade I · four weeksLocating what is installed, and establishing the baseline everything later is measured against. An Archon, in these parts, is one of five habitual grips, forgetting, comparison, urgency, isolation and compliance, each of which has a place it sits in the body. They are patterns in your own day, never people.
Part 1The MapA sentence from the log, a man who claimed it and was caught, and a neurophysiologist who left a door open. Part 2The AddressYou cannot strike a knot you have not found. Seven nights of locating the Archon, and the baseline every later test is measured against. Part 3The Chord and the NameKeely said you take hold before you let go. Two weeks: your own note against a stranger’s, then the precise name against the vague one. Part 4The WitnessWhy Isolation is the keystone, what Keely saw when a man stepped out of the circle, and the week you do this with someone else in the room. Part 5The RecordGrade I closes. How to keep the four weeks, what counts as a signal and what counts against one, and the gate into Grade II. Grade IIStriking the knot once it has been found.
Before you go further. Grades II and III push past what Grade I asked of you: longer breath holds, locks held under pressure, darkness, and deliberate discomfort. I teach them because they work in my practice and in the traditions they come from. They are not medical or psychological treatment, and I am not your doctor. If you are pregnant, or have a heart condition, high blood pressure, epilepsy, or a history of fainting, panic attacks or psychosis, ask a doctor before doing the breath holds. Never do them in or near water, while driving or standing. Never pair rapid, forced over-breathing with long holds. Stop if you feel faint, go numb or feel chest pain, or if fear or a sense of unreality stays with you after the sitting. Push against the friction, not against the body’s alarms. The cosmology in these parts is the map I read the practice by. It is not established science, and the glosses say so line by line. You take this up on your own responsibility.
The same disclaimer above applies throughout.
Part 9The WatersGrade III opens in darkness, with a glass of water. The body as an instrument of water and light, the house we resonate with, and the rite of doing nothing. Part 10The RisingSeven stations in one sitting, the octave laid on the spine, and the two places where it stalls without a shock. Part 11The Luminous OrderThe crown, where all control ceases. Why the adept does not fuse with the house, and why the return matters as much as the arrival. Part 12The Neutral CenterThe heart, where weight ceases; what the adept is for; the letter; and the seal on the whole work. Part 13The RememberingForgetting is the first Archon; this is the practice that answers it. You do not remember who you are. You are the remembering. Most meditation logs record how a sitting felt, which is the one thing that cannot be compared week to week. There is an older way, and it works by subtraction: each stage is defined by what has fallen away rather than by what arrived.
The scale, explained from scratchHow Deep Did It Go?Most meditation logs record how a sitting felt, which is the one thing that cannot be compared week to week. There is an older way of measuring depth, and it works by subtraction. The short names I use for the rungs, gathered, effortless, cooled, level, are mine and not the tradition’s. They are there so the rungs can be held in mind, and nothing rests on them.
The record is the Instrument Ledger: free, no account, thirteen weeks, one Workbook chapter a week with the part of this series that tests it on every card. Two numbers a night, the weight before and after, and the null written first. The series’ own tests (chord, name, witness, valve, surround) are optional and the form shuffles the nights. The blanks are kept, counted and reported.
This is a frontier, and the series makes predictions that can fail. The boldest is about the key: if the weights were put into many bodies by one architecture, then the notes people find at the same station should cluster, not scatter.
No one has ever looked. Every record kept in the Ledger is part of the answer, the nights nothing happened included. Nothing here is established yet; that is what the record is for.
